Support
Something not working, or a question we haven't answered here? Email hello@daysbecome.com and we'll get back to you. Telling us the email address on your account, and which device or browser you were using, usually saves a round trip.
Signing in
Days Become uses email sign-in links rather than passwords. You enter your email and we send you a link that signs you in. If it hasn't arrived:
- Check your spam or promotions folder.
- Make sure the address you typed is the one your account uses.
- Links are single-use and expire. If you requested several, only the newest one works, so request a fresh link and open that one.
- Open the link on the same device you asked for it from where you can.
Your calendars and photos
Your calendars save automatically as you work, and they're tied to your account rather than to one device, so signing in somewhere else brings them with you. Photos you add are held in private storage; who else can see them depends on the profile visibility you picked when you set up your account.
Private and public profiles
You chose Private or Public when you set up your account, and you can change it any time in Settings. Private means only you can see your calendars. Public means any signed-in visitor can open your profile and look at them.
One thing worth knowing before you go public: so that a public calendar loads quickly, the photos on it are served from ordinary web addresses that don't ask for a sign-in, and those can be cached. Switching back to private stops us serving them again, but a copy already cached in someone's browser or on our delivery network can stay reachable at its address for a while. Treat anything you've made public as public.
Subscriptions and billing
You cancel where you subscribed. If you can't find how to cancel, it's almost always because you're looking in the wrong one of these two places.
If you subscribed in the iPhone app, Apple handles the billing. Cancel on your iPhone: open Settings, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, choose Days Become, then Cancel Subscription. You can also get there from Days Become's own Settings screen. We cannot cancel, refund, or change an App Store subscription for you. Only Apple can, and refunds are decided under Apple's policy.
If you subscribed on this website, go to Settings here and choose Manage subscription. That opens our payment provider's billing portal, where you can update your payment method, see invoices, or cancel.
Either way, cancelling stops future renewals and leaves your subscription active until the end of the period you've already paid for. Still stuck? Email us and say which of the two you used. That's the fastest way for us to help.
Deleting your account
Go to Settings and choose to delete your account. This removes your account, your calendars, and the photos you've uploaded. It cannot be undone, so download anything you want to keep first. You can export a calendar as an image from the menu on any month.
If you subscribed in the iPhone app, cancel with Apple before you delete your account. Deleting your account here does not cancel an App Store subscription. Only Apple can do that, and it will keep charging you otherwise.
If you subscribed on this website, deleting your account cancels your subscription for you. Billing stops straight away and you won't be charged again. You won't be refunded for time you've already paid for, so if you're part way through a year, delete only when you're ready to give up the rest of it.
Reporting a problem with someone's content
If you come across a public calendar or profile that breaks our Terms of Service, email hello@daysbecome.com with a link to it and a short note about the problem. We review reports and remove content that violates the rules. If the problem is that someone has posted work you own the copyright to, the notice we need is set out in the Terms, under Copyright complaints.
Privacy
What we collect and why is set out in our Privacy Policy. For questions about your data, or to request a copy of it, email hello@daysbecome.com.
